About the Organization
The Nunavut Housing Corporation (NHC) is an agency of the Government of Nunavut that serves the housing needs of one of the fastest-growing and youngest populations in Canada. NHC’s mandate is to create, coordinate, and administer housing programs in order to provide fair access to a range of affordable housing options for families and individuals across Nunavut.
NHC works closely with communities, Local Housing Organizations (LHOs), government partners, and stakeholders to support safe, sustainable, and culturally informed housing solutions throughout the territory. Through initiatives such as Nunavut 3000, NHC is helping deliver new housing across the housing continuum while supporting long-term community wellbeing and growth.

About You
We are looking for individuals who are collaborative, adaptable, and committed to supporting communities through meaningful work.
The following skills and experience may be considered assets depending on the role:
- Experience working in northern or cross-cultural environments
- Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, and Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in public service, administration, technical, operational, or professional environments
- Fluency in one or more of Nunavut’s official languages (Inuktut, English, or French)
- A commitment to teamwork, accountability, and respectful service delivery
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
